Rachel Dorris, LCSW

A Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2006, Rachel Dorris, uses a variety of treatment modalities, specializing in adults. She has been a member of the the National Association of Social Workers since she earned her Master of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee in 2003. She has experience in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment, beginning her career as a Continuous Treatment Team Case Manager for a local mental health center in 2000. Rachel also has experience as a medical social worker for a home health agency and in providing education to the community about mental illness.

Rachel's focus is working with adults, both in individual counseling as well as couples therapy. Her clinical interests include treating depression, anxiety, communication issues, women's issues, substance abuse, obsessive/compulsive behaviours, and past/present abuse issues.
