Diana Finlayson, LCSW
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Diana provides psychotherapy for adults using a variety of treatment modalities. She also works with couples in therapy to facilitate improved relationships and develop effective communication skills.
Diana received an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University and holds a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee. Prior to joining The Evelyn Frye Center, she worked for several years in a community mental health setting, treating may different behavioral health issues, including depression, bi-polar disorder, anxiety, trauma and substance abuse.
Diana is a graduate of the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program sponsored by the Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group, co-sponsored by the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. She is a member of the Nashville Psychotherapy Institute, the Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group, the National Association of Social Workers and a former board member of the Nashville chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
