Carol Groninger, RN, APN

Carol is a licensed as a certified nurse practitioner with prescriptive privileges in the State of Tennessee. She has broad education, training, and experience in providing behavioral health care. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and holds a Master in Science in psychiatric nursing from Vanderbilt University. She has been a participant and a graduate of training programs through the Southeast Institute for group and Family therapy in Chapel Hill, NC and the Nashville Psychoanalytic Study Group in Nashville, TN which is co-sponsored with the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.

Carol has worked in inpatient care, church based counseling, community mental health, outpatient day programs, and with individual private clients. She provides individual therapy and medication consultation or management to adults and older adolescents. Because of the diversity of her practice settings, Carol is able to help those with a wide variety of conditions that cause depression, anxiety, and other forms of mental distress.
