Dr. Schoup obtained
her doctorate in Counseling Psychology
from the University of North Dakota
in 1994. She has an M.A. in Counseling,
also from the University of North
Dakota, and a B.A. in Fine Arts
from the College of Wooster, Wooster,
Ohio.
She prefers to work
with adult individuals, but has
worked with children and families
in the past. Dr. Schoup has lived
in several of the United States,
as well as spending 8 of her childhood
years in the Middle East, and 5
years recently in Europe.
She has two adopted
children. She believes diversity
and balance between work, family
and special interests are critical
to personal well-being and seeks
to help prospective clients obtain
greater satisfaction in these areas
through supportive, interpersonal,
cognitive-behavioral and existential
therapy modes.
