Romney Snyder-Croft, LCSW, ACSW

Social Worker, Romney Snyder-Croft, uses a variety of treatment modalities with children, adolescents, and adults. Romney received a Master of Science from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work in 1989. After moving to Tennesee with her family. she obtained her license to practice here in 1996. She has practiced for over twenty years in upstate New York, in West Virginia , in West Tennessee and in Nashville. She is also certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
Prior to joining The Evelyn Frye Center, she worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a program Coordinator/Social Work III/Research Coordinator, as well as having a private practice in West Tennessee. She has spoken in the United States and in the UK on preventative care and mental health issues.
Romney's focus has been working with children, adolescents, families, as well as adults. She has focused on developmental abuse, ADHD/ADD, women's issues, chronic health issues, dependent care issues and CNS research. She has experience in outpatient, inpatient, medical, and research settings. She has served on multiple boards for child abuse, foster-care, DSAMT, and DSAWT. She continues to serve on National Medical Advisory boards and medical interest groups.
Romney has been married 20 years, has three boys, 2 dogs and a gecko that keep her busy. She enjoys activities with her family, running, swimming, reading, traveling, gardening, spending time with family, friends and her dogs
