In addition, he utilizes treatment modalities to include solution-focused, medical model, choice, and behavior modification. He has clinical experience working with individuals with major mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, relational conflict, and phase of life issues. In addition, he has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in the court, juvenile justice, and DCS systems.

Life experiences in the military, banking and real estate investment industries, and volunteerism add to the knowledge base Tom brings to therapy. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially five beautiful grandchildren. In addition, he enjoys wilderness camping, hiking, fishing, and photography.

Tom's therapeutic focus for each individual is to provide “validation, nurturing, and self-affirmation to the person while assisting in developing skills to overcome life’s challenges and to live peacefully and successfully each day.”
