Coaching for victory/aftercare program
At the request
of CMC’s Center for
the Treatment of Obesity,
Dr. Evelyn Frye developed
a unique aftercare program
to assist patients with the
lifetime challenges of recovering
from obesity.
The goal of the Coaching for
Victory/Aftercare Program
was to support individuals
in:
- learning healthy living concepts;
- developing behavioral skills for improved self-management
- increasing awareness of personal blocks and self-defeating behaviors
- letting go of past guilt, regrets and resentments
- releasing self-limiting behaviors and attitudes
- getting out of their own way
- blaming less and forgiving more
In the process of reaching these goals, our patients
remained firmly grounded in their recovery from their disordered eating.
